Have you ever opened a bottle of good priced wine that you were unfamiliar with, expecting to have a simple, unpretentious glass of wine but then be pleasantly surprised by the wine's excellent characteristics? It's almost as if you found a small treasure.
It also gives you a sense of satisfaction in knowing that you got a good deal and didn't have to spend a small fortune in order to have a good bottle of wine.
GV Selections represents smaller Italian wineries dedicated to producing good value, handcrafted wines. These family owned vineyards are not large corporations that put out millions of bottles of commercially adequate, predictable and homogeneous wines. They are passionate winemakers who take great care in every step of the process to personally deliver quality, natural, reasonably priced and interesting artisan wines.
Italian wines are remarkable both for their quality and their diversity.
Currently there are over 400 DOC and DOCG wines in Italy, with 500+ indigenous vines. GV Selections carefully selects original wines made on a smaller scale by those who genuinely care about what they create.
